Lord Huron Toledo Concert reviews
He's forgotten who put him on top
Tom Jones opened up and set the place on fire. His performance was way better than I expected. Lord Huron almost completely disregarded his early hits, playing maybe 3 or 4 of them in a style that they weren't meant for. He came out with his crew making the stage more 'intimate', I suppose, and played for about two hours with a 5-person jazz combo. I paid good money (almost $100/seat) to see Lord Huron at the Hollywood Bowl and he put on a show that was better suited to a Vegas lounge. Every artist can do what they want, but you'd think that they would at least put on a show that fans would appreciate. About 15-20% of the audience left early. He was more than exceptional. Instead, I would NEVER pay money to see him again.
